“As a creature effects artist and performer for film and television, you might think horror and science fiction would be the genres that inspire my writing the most; but I’m more inspired by the people I’ve met and my own life experiences.”

Out of respect, Lynette Eklund refuses to tell exactly which celebrities she has merged into her characters’ personalities. Still, readers may be assured that, for better and worse, her own personal experiences are ever-present in her all of her stories.
